Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hey everyone!
This weekend I had a get together with my best friend and some of her friends.
We meet once a week to watch one of our favorite shows.
The host always puts out appetizers for us all to munch on and socialize.
I always feel terrible for never bringing anything and felt the need to bring something.
I thought a dessert would be nice and compliment the appetizers as sweet and salty are always a great combination!
I didn't do anything too fancy, I just made Chocolate Chip Cookies.
These cookies are universal and you can't ever go wrong with a classic!

I don't know about you guys, but I love a cookie that has a slight crunch to it on the outside, but is soft, gooey, and full of chocolatey decadence in the middle.
I always pull the cookies out a minute or two early and let them sit on the cookie sheet for a few minutes for the carry over cooking.
This is the very hard part as you have to patiently wait for the cookies to cool before you can eat them and all you smell is tasty sweet aromas of sugar and chocolate as the intertwine to create this sinful cookie.
In the end once they are cooled it is well worth that long wait, as they are baked to perfection!

Have a lovely day!
